Expertise in care.
Humanity at heart.
Helping people facing injury, ill-health and hardship find a path towards care and recovery.
Patriotic Doctors UK Foundation brings five clinicians together around one shared purpose: turning professional knowledge and compassion into practical assistance.

Foundation in formation · Proposed Foundation CIO in England and Wales · Not yet a registered charity
About us
We are five founding clinicians working across medicine and dentistry in the United Kingdom and Germany, united by a shared responsibility to protect human life and dignity.
Our experience spans trauma and orthopaedic surgery, immunology, dentistry, nuclear medicine and radiology. We are bringing this professional knowledge together to build a compassionate, accountable charitable organisation.
Our first planned programme focuses on adults aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom with verified health and recovery needs and associated hardship or barriers to appropriate care, including people affected by violence, repression or displacement.
Our purpose
To relieve illness, injury and related hardship by helping people obtain appropriate care, rehabilitation and practical support. We want professional solidarity to become practical assistance for people facing difficult circumstances.
Access to care
Planned grants towards appropriate assessment, treatment, medicines and essential care-related costs.
Recovery and rehabilitation
Support for rehabilitation, physiotherapy, psychological support, prostheses and assistive devices.
Relief from related hardship
Help with essential travel, interpreting and records translation directly related to accessing care.
The Foundation will fund or facilitate access to lawful, appropriately qualified providers. It will not itself diagnose, prescribe or provide clinical treatment.
What we aim to achieve
£20,000
Proposed first-year net cash fundraising target.
20+ adults
Proposed first-year number of people supported.
£250–£1,500
Proposed normal grant range per person.
These are planned targets, not results achieved. They depend on formal board adoption, registration, funding and launch controls. The proposed budget allocates £14,500 (72.5%) to direct beneficiary relief and £5,500 to safe case handling, governance, fundraising and contingency.
Our route to launch
Establish: complete registration and approve safeguards, eligibility, privacy, conflicts and financial controls.
Prepare: build secure applications, funding partnerships and verified referral routes.
Deliver: assess formal applications, record trustee-board decisions and release approved grants with two-person payment controls.
Learn: review outcomes, use of funds and beneficiary feedback, and publish an anonymised impact report.
Looking towards 2030, we aim to learn from the UK pilot and consider further health and recovery support and partnerships. Overseas work requires separate board approval and appropriate controls; it is not part of the launch programme.
